Senior Project Manager

First and foremost, Steven sees himself as a problem solver/preventer in his role as senior project manager, where he handles multiple types of roofing and remodeling projects from beginning to end. Steven’s career began in the quality control field, working in the telecommunications and retail sectors. In 2002, he transitioned to the construction industry, where he worked his way up to manage large remodel projects. In 2009, he met AJ, the president of Springtree, and was later recruited to join the team. The rest, as they say, is history.

Roofing, Steven says, is a tough industry and while he loves building, he would find it impossible to do work in a sales role at a place he didn’t believe in. “Springtree creates an ethical, quality and knowledgeable environment. Those qualities allow me to believe in the work product I’m installing and provide peace of mind, knowing we back up our work and will make it right.” His favorite part his job? Getting to build every day rather than being in an office all day, plus any project where he gets to be creative.

Steven is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and serves as a BNI Network group chapter president. He’s also an accomplished fantasy football trash talker, chess player, prankster and DIY master. As a roofing professional, Steven is OSHA 10-hour certified, Air Vent certified and certified by CertainTeed and GAF in both residential and commercial roofing. He grew up in Sachse (between Wylie and Plano), where his parents still live in a home he has had fun remodeling over the years.
