The City of Allen, TX

Allen got its humble beginning as a railroad water station before it was incorporated in 1953. Now it has grown into a thriving community of over 100,000 people from diverse cultures. Just 25 miles north of Dallas, Allen combines the convenience of city living with the low crime and hometown feel of a peaceful suburb.

The city of Allen has something for everyone. From the 7,500-seat Allen Event Center to a ballet troupe, philharmonic orchestra, and Watters Creek golf course, residents are never lacking for entertainment. Money Magazine named Allen the #2 Best Place to Live in the US in 2017.

Allen, TX Weather

Allen is an overall great place to be, but like the other cities in North Texas, it sees its share of harsh weather during tornado season. From the middle of March and all throughout April, May and June, Allen homeowners try to stay up to date with severe weather warnings. They know from experience how high winds and hail can damage their property in mere minutes.

The city has taken precautions to keep residents safe. Allen operates 14 outdoor weather sirens throughout the city, to alert citizens when dangerous weather is near. The city’s official website also links to storm safety resources for anyone who wants to be prepared ahead of time. Lightning is another hazard in Allen. In fact, it is one of the most common causes of house fires in the city.

The National Weather Service has proclaimed Allen to be a “Storm Safe” city. Unfortunately, roofs, structures, and home exteriors aren’t always so safe.

“Springtree has done numerous projects for my personal and investment properties, both
residential and commercial. They always do EXCELLENT work, on schedule!!! Also strong
supporters of the Impacktive Foundation!!” – Scott Axelrod in Allen, Texas Scott Axelrod in Allen, TX

Last spring, we had a quick hail storm which caused our roof to be completely totaled. I was bombarded with many companies wanting to win the business and repair my roof. Springtree Restoration was recommended to me by a friend, who also needed her roof repaired.

I met AJ and was instantly impressed with his honesty and knowledge of the industry. Did you know anyone in Texas can repair your roof? Texas doesn’t require companies to be licensed to make roof repairs. Also, he was completely professional and one of the only companies that gave me a typed proposal with a breakdown of all services. Nothing was padded in the proposal. I wasn’t ready to decide right away, and he was very understanding and patient with me. The cost of a roof repair is very expensive, and it was a major investment.

After several other companies came and tried to win the business, I realized that AJ and Springtree were the only ones that I really felt the most comfortable with. It mattered to me that he and the company were local business owners and knew what they were doing.

Once they begun, the workers were efficient and respectful of me and my property. They barely made any mess, worked in the hot sun, and took their time to make sure it was done correctly and to my liking. What impressed me the most was that AJ was here every day, several times a day to be sure things were being done correctly.

He also helped me understand about different materials and how they put the shingles on the roof. I am not an easy customer. AJ and his crew never seemed bothered by me and all my questions and changes.

My roof looks AMAZING! I would recommend this company for so many reasons, especially because they did everything I asked, made sure everything was clean and that I was satisfied with the work. Springtree knows what they are doing, and is very honest in their pricing.

They exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a great, trustworthy and honest company, choose Springtree Restoration. I will call on them for other work in the future as needed as well.”
